The Fall of 2007 met Kayce with new challenges and new inspiration. Mom to now seven children ( five girls and two boys ranging in ages from three to fifteen) Kayce had outgrown her home office and garage storage space. With more and more children’s, women’s and wedding boutiques vying for her collections, it was time to make the leap into corporate office and warehouse space.
In October of 2007 the decision was made to formally change the name of the company to Kayce Hughes. With the expansion of the women’s collection and long range plans for a home and possible men’s collection, the time was right for a fresh name. The children’s collection will continue to be labeled Pears and Bears as it is where Kayce got her start and will forever hold a special place in her heart.
Kayce’s talents have been recognized by magazines such as Vogue, Domino, Martha Stewart Weddings, Child and Fit Pregnancy.
